How long was the trend "In"
I know the Egyptians clothes were special but they are so last season. Every year something new comes out that everybody wants but the plain white linen look lasted 2,000 years. I still cant believe that the guys wore kilts, skirts. Plus the style back then was to shave your head and were wigs made of human hair if you were wealthy enough. I don't ever see that style choice ever coming back. That is why the Egyptians really needed a fashion consultant and a hairdresser too, but that never happened and I hope today it has at least changed a little. womena6.jpg http://www.egyptology.escholar.info/fashion.html
Bling Bling
Egyptians loved there jewelry they cared a lot for there appearance. They wanted bright elaborate jewelry that went with there plain linen clothing. They wore a lot of gold and the necklaces were huge but not like so huge that they fall over when they are wearing it haha. The necklaces had bright beads and usually have some sort of god or symbol. http://www.fast-autos.net/diecast-cars-models/Replica-Ancient-Egypt-Faience-Necklace-and-Collars_160477885714.html

what makeup Egyptians dare to wear in public
The Egyptians didn't wear glitter and nail polish but they had lip stick, blush, and other things they thought to put on there faces. They used black kohl and green malachite for there eyes. They also didn't want to stink so they rubbed scented oils of there skin so they would smell nice.Since they rubbed a rock on there eyes I don't know what they would want to smell like.

How did they do it?
After working so long and hard they finally have material. they couldn't just go to Joann's or Hobby Lobby and get a needle and thread they had to to make the needles out of bronze, bone, wood, or other materials. Which was not so easy because the needles had to be fairly thin. Doing the hem then is just as easy as making a hem now. All they did was fold over edge of the material and did some whipped stitches. Whipped stitches are some of the easiest .http://www.holiday-crafts-and-creations.com/whip-stitch.html
